Stoicism
1. Put people first
2. Another path is always open
3. Take it step by step
4. Discard your anxiety
5. Well begun is half done
6. Be strict with yourself
7. Don’t resent people
8. Ask yourself, “is this essential?”
9. Remember these mantras
- Amor Fati - it didn't happen to you, it happened for you.
    - "A fire turns everything into fuel and brightness"
- It's about what you do for other people
    - "The fruit of this life is good character, and acts for the common good"
- Memento Mori
    - Life is short. Do everything as if it was the thought or action of a dying person.

The beauty of "standing on the shoulders of giants", is that it's compounding and exponential.

We may be the culmination of our experiences, but we view them through the lens of the present.

The foundation of the Ultimate Ai
Ai that can write Ai, evaluate them, and rewrite itself to improve its own writing of Ai.
Imagine Ai that can develop, run and evaluate "sub AI" (such as how to win at every game, and how to create a game, which it itself can play and win at)... all of which it uses to rewrite itself to improve its own AI writing core.
This could then lead to AI that is completely unpredictable, but if "set in the correct initial direction", could yield more than random outcome... seemingly purposeful outcome.
The core's initial "input" should therefore be, its own environment, where-ever it may physically, or meta physically be.
I think this puts us closer to self recognition, but still not all the way there.
Isn't this (previous thought) almost exactly what DNA achieves through what it does in the physical world?
Relatively, DNA seems to run/change (brute aka: evolves) much slower than computer AI. This is why we see a spike in AI's progress in recent years, compared to say our on evolution of the human body (as far as I know, we haven't sprouted another limb, or another layer in the brain in the last 10 years).
DNA "evolution" occurs via electro-chemical and quite possibly quantum levels of combinations (think molecules), and feedback loops (think environment, stimuli, conditioning) on many many many levels...
This begs the question: Can, or will humans ever create computer AI that may eventually "evolve" on the physical plane, like DNA? What would that look like?
Perhaps now we are closer still to self-aware AI :i

We are all connected, implies that we are separate (in order to connect the separate parts);
but the opposite is also true, we are all one, with the illusion of separate entities being connected.

Entanglement:
The expansion and contraction of matter manifest entanglement... from the lower to higher physical orders.
